Nyambane humiliated at Churchill Show

For a moment, renowned comedian Walter Mong'are alias Nyambane was humiliated by Churchill Show live recording at Carnivore Grounds on Tuesday.

Host Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill had invited the veteran comedian in the event dubbed as Recounting Moi rule, just a day to Moi Day celebrations.
And when invited to perform in stage, Mr. Mong'are rejected much to the disillusionment of his fans who in return shouted at him with some threatening to evict him.
When calm was restored after about 20 minutes, Mr. Mong'are said: "Out of respect for the retired president, who – today – is not as energetic as he was nearly two decades ago, I choose not to imitate, or make fun of him.”
Mr. Ndambuki, also sought to defend his under fire host when he questioned them if they will request him to perform long after his retirement.
"Will you also heckle me when I decline to perform when I retire?" he asked as the crowd responded in affirmative.
During President Daniel Moi era, Mr. Mong'are, was a member of a crew dubbed Ridykyulass which rocked the entertainment industry. He was imitating the Head of State at that time.
Other members of the crew included Tony Njuguna and Dagoretti South MP John Kierie, then known as KJ.
Before joining State House as part of youth affairs strategist, Nyambane worked as Communication Director both in Nairobi and Kisii Counties.
Back at Kisii and Nyamira, Nyambane is popular among the youthful generation at some point, he has been urged to run for an elective seat.
