A group of street children did unimaginable after their colleague was found dead mysteriously, by carrying his body and placing it at the center of the road, stopping the movement of vehicles in the area.
This happened after the dead body of a young boy who was identified to be of a street boy was found at Nyambera in Kisii on Monday morning. It was said that the boy was alright the previous day and therefore the reasons for his death still remains scanty.
A group of street boys gathered to mourn the demise if their colleague and after the police failed to come in time, they carried the dead body and laid it at the center of the road, as a way of seeking attention from the police.
As it was reported by a local station, the unprecedented incident, caused a jam at the place as there was no movement of vehicles. Something that caused mayhem, as residents faulted the police of their laxity.
"After the street children became impatient, the carried the dead body and placed it at the road, blocking vehicles from moving.” Reported a local radio station.
However, the police officers arrived at the scene, carried the dead body and took it to one of the mortuaries in Kisii town.
